We also assist families and caregivers seeking expertise during times of transition or concern.
About Our Director
Clarity Capacity Assessment Services is led by Jodi Webber. Jodi is an experienced capacity assessor and strategic thinker with a strong foundation in health, aging, and social systems. Her social work career spans 25 years+ across academia, the healthcare continuum and service delivery, merging clinical insight, legal literacy, and a systems-level understanding in her capacity assessment work.
Holding a PhD in Aging & Health from Queen’s University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto,
Jodi combines academic rigor with practical, lived experience.
As a Designated Capacity Assessor in Ontario, Jodi is recognized for her ability to conduct clear, objective and legally compliant assessments under the Substitute Decisions Act (SDA) (1992). Her expertise spans complex decision-making contexts, including property management, personal care, financial matters, and testamentary capacity. She is particularly skilled in navigating sensitive situations with understanding, honesty and compassion. Jodi is known for her commitment to the principles and values of social work.
